Mar 21, 2019 | 8:19 AM

The Grande Prairie Athletics return to the friendly confines of the Coca-Cola Centre Thursday night for Game 6 of the NPHL Final with the Dawson Creek Canucks.

Grande Prairie leads the best of seven series 3-2 following a 4-1 win on the road in Dawson Creek on Tuesday.

The win was the first by a road team in the series.

Dawson Creek will be looking to try and force a Game 7 back in the Mile Zero city Saturday night, while the Athletics are trying to secure their first league title since the 2009-2010 season.

Grande Prairie’s championship win in 2009-2010 is their lone title win in the NPHL.

Face-off for Game 6 between the Canucks and Athletics is at 8:30 p.m.
