Kings travel to Fort St.John for crucial Game 5 with Huskies

Mar 21, 2019 | 6:50 AM

Game 5 of the North West Junior Hockey League Final will go Thursday night in Fort St.John with the best of seven series tied at 2.

It has been a back and forth series between the two clubs with the Kings winning Games 1 & 4, and the Huskies winning Games 2 & 3.

One of the big reasons why the Kings were able to even the series Tuesday night was thanks to their power play.

The Kings were 3/6 on the man advantage in Game 4 while the Huskies were 1/8.

Puck drop for Game 5 is 8:00 p.m. in Fort St.John.

The series will then return to the County Sportsplex for Game 6 Saturday night and if necessary, Game 7 of the league final will be Sunday back in Fort St.John.

Both the Huskies and Kings will be competing in Provincials in two weeks in Wetaskiwin.
