Alberta’s NDP leader is promising more long-term beds for seniors if her government is re-elected.

Rachel Notley made the announcement at a seniors centre in Lethbridge.

Meanwhile, United Conservative leader Jason Kenney is pledging a referendum on equalization if there’s no major progress on market-opening pipelines.

Alberta Party Leader Stephen Mandel says if he is elected premier he would double the number of educational assistants in schools.

Alberta Liberal Leader David Khan says his party would improve the child welfare, education and justice systems for Indigenous people.

Albertans go to the polls on April 16th.
