Huskies win thrilling Game 5 over Kings

The Fort St.John Huskies and JDA Kings continue to put on a show in the North West Junior Hockey League Final.

Game 5 took place Thursday night in Fort St.John with the best of seven series tied up at 2.

Late in the third period and the game all knotted up at two, it would be Dean Whitcomb who found the back of the net for the Huskies with 3 seconds remaining in regulation to vault the Huskies to a 3-2 win and a 3-2 lead in the best of seven series.

The league final will now shift back to the County Sportsplex one final time for Game 6 which will be played Saturday night at 8:00 p.m.
