Rangeland Derby tarp auction sales up from 2018

Thursday night’s Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby tarp auction brought in the fifth-highest total in the 41-year history of the sale.

Total bids were came in at $3,288,500. That is $50,500 more than total sales in 2018.

Troy Dorchester had the top bid at $150,000.

Mark Sutherland had the top bid for drivers from the Peace at $105,000.

Chanse Vigen $100,000

Kirk Sutherland $95,000

Mitch Sutherland $82,500

Cody Ridsdale $75,000

This year’s Calgary Stampede will run from July 5 to 14.
