Mar 25, 2019 | 6:57 PM

Police say human remains found in a wilderness area northwest of Calgary last fall have now been identified.

Investigators say they are treating the death of Calgarian Jeremy Boisseau as a homicide.

The 29-year-old was last seen in the city in November 2016.

Officials believe he was killed in Calgary and his body was taken to the Waiparous area, where the remains were discovered near a forestry trunk road last October.

No one has been arrested.
