HFCRD announces Catholic Conference Centre closure after fire

The Holy Family Catholic Regional School Division in Peace River has announced its Catholic Conference Centre will be closed for a minimum of four months.

The closure comes after a fire in the school division’s central office last Thursday afternoon.

No injuries were reported but the building has seen severe smoke damage.

Power has been restored to the central office but staff are currently working out of Glenmary School this week and can be reached through regular modes of communication.
