2020 mixed provincials start today

It might say March, 2019 on the calendar, but the 2020 provincial mixed curling championship will start today.

The host venue is Edmonton’s Shamrock Curling Club.

The first draw is at 2 p.m. this afternoon.

Daylen Vavrek’s rink from Sexsmith will take on Edmonton’s Craig MacAlpine.

Graham Powell from Sexsmith is skipping a team based out of Edmonton’s Avonair Curling Club. They will face Edmonron’s Warren Cross in Draw 1.

The champion will be crowned Sunday.
