Swan City product wins National Championship with Minot State

A former member of the Grande Prairie Storm and JDA Kings is a National Champion.

Swan City product Kyle Lipinski and the the Minot State Beavers claimed the ACHA Men’s Division 1 National Championship Tuesday night with a 3-1 win over Iowa State in Frisco, Texas.

Lipinski was a senior at Minot State and was in final season.

During his time with the Beavers, Lipinski recorded 22 goals and 14 assists from the blue line in 142 games played.
