The 2019 Coy Cup continued Wednesday in Fort St.John with another pair of round robin games.

In a match up between a pair of winless teams, it was the Williams Lake Stampeders earning a 7-4 win over the Prince Rupert Rampage who drop to 0-2.

The evening game saw a pair of North Peace Hockey League rivals clash as the Fort St.John Flyers edged the Dawson Creek Canucks 3-1.

With the win Wednesday night, the Flyers are in the driver’s seat to earn 1st place in the round robin and a spot in the Championship game on Saturday.

The round robin will conclude Thursday with two more games on tap.

Prince Rupert will tangle with the Dawson Creek Canucks in the afternoon game at 3:00 p.m. and will be followed by Fort St.John going up against Williams Lake at 8.

The semi-final is scheduled for Friday and the Final for Saturday.
