Harsch & Blades on to round two

Grande Prairie product Reece Harsch and the Saskatoon Blades are off to the 2nd round of the playoffs in the Western Hockey League.

They completed the sweep of the Moose Jaw Warriors Wednesday night with a 4-3 win in overtime.

In the four-game sweep, Harsch registered 1 assist and was a +2.

The sweep also means that fellow GP product Kjell Kjemhus’ season has come to an end.

Kjemhus appeared in three post-season games and did not register a point.

The Blades will move on to face the Prince Albert Raiders in the 2nd round after the Raiders also completed their sweep of the Red Deer Rebels Wednesday night.
