Police on scene of a collision at 68 Avenue and 100 Street

UPDATE – 4:45 p.m. April 3

Grande Prairie RCMP say they responded to a collision that happend close to nine this morning on 68 Avenue and 100 Street.

The crash involved an SUV and a marked police vehicle.

The lone occupant of the SUV was transported to hospital by EMS.

Police say all possible contributing factors are being looked at and the investigation is ongoing.

Drivers can expect some traffic delays around the intersection of 68 Avenue and 100 Street.

Police say they’re currently at the scene of a two vehicle collision and they’re advising motorists to consider taking an alternate route.
