Charges laid after fraud investigation

RCMP say charges have been laid following a fraud investigation from a local post secondary institution.

The investigation revealed discrepancies in documents of a value over five thousand dollars suspected to be from a former employee.

Kristina Van De Walle (47) of Clairmont, is facing the following charges:

• Fraud over $5,000.00
• Uttering a forged document x 4
• Forgery x 4

Van De Walle is set to appear in Grande Prairie court on May 1st.
