Pair of Spirit River hockey players to compete for National Championship

It was a big weekend for both Dayle Ross and Tianna Yaremko of Spirit River on the ice.

Their St.Albert Slash punched their ticket to the 2019 Esso Cup for the 3rd straight year after they swept the Pacific regional best of three series over the Greater Vancouver Comets.

The Slash have won the Esso Cup the past two years and will have a chance to make it three years in a row in Sudbury.

The 2019 Esso Cup begins on April 21st when the Slash open up the tournament against the representatives from Quebec.
