Former Storm netminder signs PTO in AHL

A former goaltender for the Grande Prairie Storm is getting his shot in the American Hockey League.

Logan Thompson, who spent part of the 2014-2015 season with the Grande Prairie Storm has signed a Professional Try-Out with the Binghamton Devils.

Thompson spent a majority of the season with Brock University where he had an 18-6-0 record with a 2.22 GAA.

The 22-year-old netminder then signed on with the ECHL’s Adirondack Thunder and in eight regular season games had a 2.59 GAA and a .922 SV%.

Binghamton closes out the season this weekend with three games in three nights.
