Fritz’s Islanders begin chase for Stanley Cup

The 2019 NHL playoffs begin Wednesday night and Grande Prairie product and former Storm Captain Tanner Fritz will be hoping to help his team make a lengthy playoff run.

Fritz was called up from the AHL back in March as the Islanders continue to deal with injury problems.

Fritz and the Islanders will begin their 2019 playoff run when they host the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 1 of their 1st round series Wednesday night.

The Grande Prairie product has appeared in 8 games with the Islanders this season and has registered one assist.
