A 16-year-old boy in Lloydminster has been charged with making an explosive substance.
RCMP say they got word last Tuesday about explosives possibly being kept at a commercial storage facility in the border city.
Chemicals used to make explosives were found at the site and a search of a local home turned up more chemicals.
Mounties say there is no threat to public safety.
