Okabe named to NHL Central Scoutings final rankings

NHL Central Scouting announced their final rankings ahead of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft in June and five players from the AJHL are on the list.

One of them is Storm forward Zachary Okabe.

Okabe finished the 2018-2019 AJHL regular season with 31 goals and 27 assists in 60 games.

Okabe is ranked 201st among North American skaters.

Other AJHL players who were named to the final rankings include Luke Bast of the Brooks Bandits, Matthew Davis of the Spruce Grove Saints, Carter Gylander of the Sherwood Park Crusaders, and Quinn Olson of the Okotoks Oilers.

The 2019 NHL Entry Draft will be held June 21-22 in Vancouver.
