Yaremko nets first pro goal

It has been a whirlwind last couple of weeks for Spirit River’s Nolan Yaremko.

Less than two weeks ago, the 20-year-old forward signed an Amateur Try-Out with the AHL’s Stockton Heat following his Tri-City Americans being eliminated from the WHL’s post-season.

Yaremko made his pro debut when the Heat played a pair of games in Winnipeg against the Manitoba Moose and this past Friday Yaremko took it one step further and found the back of the net for the 1st time in the AHL.

Yaremko got into five games with the Stockton Heat to conclude the 2018-2019 regular season.

Stockton finished the season with a 31-31-4-2 record and missed out on the post-season.
