Fire advisory issued for Peace River Forest Area

A fire advisory is now in place for the Peace River Forest Area.

The Wildfire Information Office says while there is still a lot of snow in the back country, a lot of areas have exposed, dry grass.

Campfires, charcoal briquettes, propane stoves and barbecues, infra-red heaters, and portable fire pits are still allowed.

The wildfire hazard is rated moderate in that area.
