We’re very proud of Will! He’s committed to Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Next fall he’ll play in “Fondy” for the Sabres and study for his business degree. @marianmensacha @CFrederickson30 @GP_Kings pic.twitter.com/WcshPNHdc4

McCreight has spent the past three seasons playing at the Junior B level, beginning in the KIJHL with the Columbia Valley Rockies and then the past two years with the JDA Kings.
The 2018-2019 season McCreight put up his best numbers of his Junior career as he appeared in 25 games with a 3.57 GAA and a .900 SV%.
However, despite his numbers being relatively the same in the post-season there were numerous times where the veteran netminder faced 40 plus shots in-game.
As a result, McCreight was named as one the clubs playoff MVP’s along with Austin Hrehoruk.
McCreight and the Kings went on a memorable run in the 2018-2019 season as they sat in last place in November and climbed all the way up to 3rd place by the end of the regular season.
They then eliminated both the Sundown Oilfield Services Sexsmith Vipers and Dawson Creek Jr.Canucks in the post-season before being dispatched by the Fort St.John Huskies in the league final.
