Pair of former GPAC players begin quest for Telus Cup

The Telus Cup, Canada’s National Midget AAA hockey championship is set to get underway Monday in Thunder Bay Ontario and there are some ties to the Swan City in this year’s tournament.
The Calgary Buffalos are this year’s Pacific representative and they feature a pair of players who spent some time in Grande Prairie with the GPAC Bantam AAA Storm.
Marco Lopez and Garin Bjorklund are hoping to lead their Calgary Buffalos squad to a National title as they begin the week long tournament Monday night against the host Thunder Bay Kings.
