Lake Louise planning on making upgrades to ski resort
Apr 24, 2019 | 9:07 AM
Lake Louise Ski Resort is proposing some big changes to its operation in Banff National Park.
The resort wants to give 1,000 hectares of land back to Parks Canada in exchange for being able to upgrade its facilities.
The plan would involve building a new mountaintop lodge and another day lodge next to the original Whiskey Jack Lodge.
Lake Louise also wants to build new lifts to access more beginner and intermediate terrain.
Parks Canada says no decisions on the proposal have been made
