2019 Alberta Cup underway in Red Deer

The top Bantam hockey players in the province have congregated to Red Deer for a busy four days at the annual Alberta Cup.

There will be plenty of Swan City representation at the tournament.

Goaltender Connor Stojan was selected to Team Yellow, while Ty Doucette, Lucas Schuett, and Jaxon Boucher will skate for Team Grey at the 6-team tournament.

Stojan’s Team Yellow will open the tournament when they face Team Black at 9:00 a.m.

They will also play Team Red in the evening game at 8:00 p.m.

Meanwhile Doucette, Schuett, and Boucher will be on the ice at 11:30 a.m. with Team Grey as they meet Team Red.

They also play at 5:30 p.m. against Team Black.

The Alberta Cup is the top select Bantam hockey tournament in the province which will feature many players who will be selected in the Western Hockey League draft in May.
