Drug and child endangerment charges have been laid and thousands of dollars worth of drugs have been seized after a pair of investigations in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team says drugs and cash were found and two people were arrested during the search of a home on April 19th.

Alberta Children’s Services was notified after a young child was also found at the residence.

The suspects are both adults but their names have not been released to protect the child’s identity.

A separate investigation led to the arrest of a 25-year-old man late last month after a search of an apartment block turned up cash and drugs.
