Three homes damaged in Grande Prairie house fire

Three homes have been damaged after a Saturday afternoon fire in Grande Prairie.

Emergency crews were called to the scene on 101 Street near 108 Avenue around 2:30 p.m.

Witnesses say they heard two loud explosions just before the fire broke out.

The Grande Prairie Fire Department says two people were taken to the hospital to be checked, but were released a short time later.

The investigation into the blaze continues.
