May 1, 2019 | 11:36 AM

The off-season is in full swing for the GPRC Wolves and their clubs as they look to add to their teams for the 2019-2020 season.

The Men’s Basketball team announced Wednesday morning the commitment of Saxon Joyes to the program.

From Stony Plain, Joyes was named a Metro Edmonton All-Star in 2019 for the 2nd year in a row.

According to a release from the GPRC, Saxon chose GPRC due to the great first impressions which the coaching staff, the campus, and the players on the club provided.

Head Coach Evan Lloyd stated in the release, “He (Joyes) brings and eagerness to improve his game, an excellent work ethic, and incredible competitiveness.”

Joyes and the Wolves will be back on the court for the 2019-2020 season in the fall.
