Bail hearing set in murder case

A bail hearing for a man charged with murder after the death of a Bezanson woman will take place June 10.

Randy Stephen Fiddler made his second appearance in Grande Prairie court Wednesday by closed-circuit television from the Peace River Correctional Centre.

He has been ordered to appear in person for that hearing and will stay in jail in Peace River until then.

He was charged with murder after 55-year-old Merna Fiddler died April 23. Police did not say how she died.
