Nielsen & Giants on the brink in WHL Final

May 9, 2019 | 6:43 AM

Fort St.John’s Tristan Nielsen and the Vancouver Giants are one loss away from having their dreams of representing the WHL at the 2019 Memorial Cup come to an end.

The Giants dropped Game 4 of the WHL Final Wednesday night at the Langley Events Centre 1-0 to the Prince Albert Raiders.

They now trail the best-of-seven series 3-1.

Since Vancouver’s Game 1 win, the Giants have only found the back of the net twice in three games.

Nielsen & the Giants will look to keep their season alive Friday night when they host the Prince Albert Raiders in Game 5 of the WHL Final.
