Calgary cabbie accused of striking passenger

Charges of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon have been laid against a 40-year-old Calgary taxi driver who is accused of striking a passenger.
Police got word Wednesday evening about an altercation involving a cabbie and his passenger at a northeast-area gas station.
Officers arrived to find a man who investigators say had been struck on the head with a blunt object.
