2019 Wheatbelt Baseball Season begins in Dawson Creek

The grass is green, and the bases are set for the 2019 Wheatbelt Baseball League season which is set to kick off Tuesday night in Dawson Creek.

The opening contest of the 2019 season will see the Dawson Creek Dodgers host the Rycroft Rage.

Rycroft has won the league championship the past two season and are five-time Wheatbelt league champions.

First pitch is at 8:00 p.m.

The other teams in the league won’t have to wait long before taking to the field.

Wednesday the Grimshaw Huskies are in Peace River for a meeting with the Stampeders and Thursday the County Brewers host the Rycroft Rage and the Manning Mets are in Grimshaw.
