Storm add another forward for 2019-20 season

The Storm have added another forward to the roster for the 2019-20 season.

2001-born Adin Kennedy of Lintlaw, SK has committed to the team, after playing his midget hockey for the Edge School Prep team out of Calgary in the Canadian Sports School Hockey League.

Last season, the 6’1″ forward scored 15 goals and added 14 assists in 34 regular season games in his second year with the team.

Head Coach Matt Keillor is excited to have Kennedy join the team for next season.

“He plays a very mature game, especially away from the puck. He’s an excellent skater, strong and explosive first three strides. He plays a hard game and he competes; something we put a high priority on for this season,” said Keillor, in a release. “He came to spring camp in Grande Prairie and made an impression on the scouts right away, both with his on-ice abilities and his character. Adin’s two-way game will really compliment our style of play next season and give us stability within our skill.”

Kennedy joins Sam Erkkila from Michigan as the two forwards the team has added for next season. They have also signed defencemen Cade Mason of Red Deer and Raegen Wiles of Calgary.
