House fire in County brought under control

May 16, 2019 | 4:28 PM

A house fire near Range Road 50 and Township Road 734 has been brought under control by County Regional Fire Services.

Around noon today, crews from the Clairmont and Dunes station arrived to see the house on fire, but it was quickly brought under control with help from the Bezanson and Teepee Creek fire stations, as well as the Sexsmith and Wembley fire departments.

“Our number one priority is keeping the public safe,” says Fire Chief Dan Verdun. “It’s essential that people call 911 at the first sign of smoke or fire and allow the responding crews to do their job.”
