Emergency Services respond to grass fire early Monday evening

Early Monday evening the Grande Prairie RCMP and fire services responded to a grass fire West of 92 street near 80 ave.

Traffic was re-routed for a short period of time, but the Grande Prairie Fire Department was able to put the blaze out quickly and now traffic is back to normal.

The investigation into what caused the blaze is underway.

The Grande Prairie RCMP are asking the public if they have any information on the fire to contact them at 780-830-5700 or by calling Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477
