Brewers eye 1st win of the season against Dodgers

After having the long weekend off the Wheatbelt Baseball League will resume play Tuesday evening with a pair of games on the schedule.

The County Brewers will be looking to get their first notch in the win column in the 2019 season as they welcome the Dawson Creek Dodgers to the Crosslink County Sportsplex.

The Brewers opened the 2019 campaign with a 7-3 loss to the Rycroft Rage last Thursday.

For the Dodgers, this will be their 1st game of the season as their scheduled first contest against Rycroft was postponed due to rain last Tuesday.

Elsewhere on the diamond, the Manning Mets and the Grimshaw Huskies will play the 2nd half of a home and home series in Manning.

Grimshaw won the first half 13-5 Thursday.

First pitch for both contests is at 7:15 p.m.
