County Residents Encouraged to Recycle Household and Hazardous Waste

The County of Grande Prairie’s annual Household and Hazardous Waste roundup goes today from 10 am to 2 pm at the Webster Community Church.

County residents are encouraged to drop off household and hazardous waste items such as used oil, paint, unwanted computers and TV’s, and tires.

Regular recyclable items such as paper, cardboard, tin, and pop bottles and cans can also be dropped off at one of the County’s recycling bins that will be on site.

Draws will be held for people that drop off items at this event, with prizes including a barbecue and a backyard composter.
