UPDATE – Mother charged after Fox Creek Amber Alert

UPDATE: Fox Creek RCMP say Charmaine Darnel has been arrested and taken into custody. Charges are pending.

Police add the mother and three kids were located near Sylvan Lake by RCMP in that community.

The kids ages 4, 3, and nine months, were located around 7 a.m. this morning after being abducted around 1:30 a.m.

The children were OK when they were located.

An Amber Alert that was issued earlier today for three young Fox Creek children has been cancelled.

According to Alberta Emergency Alert, the children were located safe and unharmed after being reportedly taken from their home at around 1:30 this morning.

The alert was issued around 5 this morning and then cancelled just before 8am.
