Crews called to put out fire near Slave Lake and find body of a man

Major Crimes in Slave Lake are investigating after a man’s body was found near a fire.

On Friday morning, just after 1:30 a.m., RCMP are fire services were called to the fire about 20 km west of the town.

When putting out the fire, a body was discovered at the scene. This fire not a part of the wildfire that continues to burn in the area.
