Bail hearing delayed in murder case

A bail hearing in a Bezanson-area murder case did not go ahead in Grande Prairie court Monday as planned.

The defence for Randy Fiddler says it needs more time to work out a plan for where Fiddler would live if he is released.

He is facing a murder charge after the April 23 death of 55-year-old Myrna Fiddler. The two were married at the time of her passing.

A new date for the bail hearing has not been set.

Fiddler did appear in person in court and remains in custody.
