Southern Alberta woman caught going 224 km/hr on motorcycle

Jun 14, 2019 | 7:55 AM

A woman on a motorcycle has been nabbed for extreme speeding on a highway south of Calgary.

RCMP say she was clocked doing 224 km/h in a 90 km/h on Highway 762.

The 26-year-old from Calgary is to appear in Turner Valley court next month.

Mounties say anyone travelling at such an extreme rate of speed poses a serious risk to themselves and the public.
