EDMONTON – A 15-year member of the Edmonton Police Service is facing several charges in an alleged forgery involving traffic tickets.

The police service says it’s believed the wrong date was written on multiple tickets and then corrected after they had been issued.

Cst. Lauren Skibinsky has been charged with obstruction of justice, forgery and misconduct of an officer executing the Criminal Code.

He has been reassigned to an administrative position until court proceedings are concluded.
