WHL releases pre-season schedule; two games coming to Dawson Creek

The Western Hockey League has released their 2019 pre-season schedule and residents of the Peace Country will get a chance to see a pair of games come to the region.

Announced earlier this year, the Edmonton Oil Kings and Prince George Cougars will meet in Dawson Creek B.C for a pair of games in mid September.

However, the start times for the pair of games were finalized by the release of the schedule last week.

The Cougars and Oil Kings will collide on Thursday September 12 at 7:00 p.m., have Friday off, and then play the 2nd contest Saturday September 14 at 1:00 p.m.

Both clubs had some Peace region flavour to them last season.
