Huskies earn 2nd win of the season in Peace River

The Grimshaw Huskies got back in the win column Monday night on the road.

They earned a 6-5 win in Peace River over the Stampeders.

Despite cashing in 4 runs in the first inning, the Huskies found themselves down 5-4 after one.

However, they would chip away in the fourth inning where they would tie the game at 5 and then regain the lead in the top of the sixth.

With the win Grimshaw improves to 2-8 on the season.

Peace River meanwhile drops to 6-4 on the year and remain in 2nd place in the league standings.

Grimshaw will look to earn their 2nd win in as many nights Tuesday evening when they meet the first place County Brewers in Rycroft.

First pitch is at 7:15 p.m.
