Olson shuts out Rage, leads Stampeders to victory
Justin Olson went the distance for the Peace River Stampeders, as they defeated the Rycroft Rage 3-0 at home Wednesday night in Wheatbelt Baseball League action.
Olson went seven innings, giving up just four hits while striking out four on 85 pitches, moving his unblemished record to 4-0 this season.
The Stamps offence was only able to muster up four hits of their own but were able to score a run in the third, followed by two runs in the fifth.
The win moves the Stamps to 7-4 on the year. They sit a game-and-a-half back of the County Brewers for top spot in the league standings.
