Tyler Racansky’s big night helped propel the County Brewers to their eighth consecutive victory.

Racansky hit a grand slam in the fourth, finishing with five RBI as the Brewers thumped the Rage in Rycroft 12-2 last night.

Josh McKinnon went the distance on the mound for the Brewers, giving up four hits while striking out five.

The Brewers now sit comfortably atop the league standings at 8-1.

Meanwhile, in Grimshaw, the Huskies used a nine run third inning to claim a 12-8 victory over the Manning Mets.

A total of seven players provide RBIs for the Huskies. Cody Houlder, Ian Dickson and Colter Wiebe led the way with two each for Grimshaw.

The win moves the Huskies to 3-9 on the year. The Mets and Rage fall to 3-5 following their respective losses.

Those two will play a double header to close out this week’s schedule on Saturday to try and get themselves back on track. The first game goes at 4:00 in Manning, while the second game will follow at 7:00.
