Irvine claims WPCA crown in High Prairie

Despite Friday night’s races being canceled and light showers on and off during the final day Sunday, the WPCA event at Guy Weadick Days in High Prairie was a huge success.
When all was said and done, Doug Irvine took the title for the first time after posting a 3-day aggregate time of 3:54.64.
Irvine was in first place overall since the opening night on Thursday.
He also finished 2.12 seconds ahead of 2nd place finisher Mark Sutherland.
