Over $27,000 raised from this years Relay for Life

The annual Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event took place this past weekend in Grande Prairie and the event was a big success.

16 teams and around 100 residents took part in the 12 hour relay which raised money for the Cancer research and support.

When all was said and done, they unofficially raised $27,256.10 at this years event.

Prior to the event, organizers were already halfway towards their fundraising goal.
