Lethbridge surpasses Red Deer for third largest Alberta city

Lethbridge is now Alberta’s third-largest city.

The city released its census results yesterday, and the official population is now 101,482.

Red Deer, which had been the province’s third largest city, has slightly less at 101,002.

Lethbridge Mayor Chris Spearman says the future of his city is bright as it continues to grow in a steady way.
