First member ace at GP Golf and Country Club Thursday

The odds of an average golfer sinking a hole in one are about 12,500 to 1.

Thursday night the 1 happened at the Grande Prairie Golf and Country Club.

Shayne Sieker sunk an ace on the par 3 2nd hole Thursday evening to become the first member 2019 to hit a hole in one.

The 2nd hole at the Grande Prairie Golf and Country Club is 170 yards from the black tees.

With his hole in one, Sieker won his membership for the 2020 season.
