Jul 3, 2019 | 6:26 AM

The 2nd last week in the Wheatbelt Baseball League regular season continued Tuesday night with a pair of games on the schedule.

In Rycroft, the Rage hosted the County Brewers in a re-match of last weeks lone game on the schedule.

The two teams played a completely different style game Tuesday evening, going from a low scoring pitching duel to a slug fest.

The Rage scored 3 runs in the 1st, 2nd, and 6th to earn a 12-7 win over the County Brewers.

The win vaults Rycroft to a record of 6-6 and are just a half game back of the Peace River Stampeders for 2nd place.

Meanwhile out in Manning, the Mets held on for an 8-6 win over the Grimshaw Huskies to join the Rage at 6-6.

Manning and Rycroft remain tied for 3rd place in the league standings with their respective wins.

League play resumes Wednesday night when the Rage host the Peace River Stampeders.

First pitch is at 7:15 p.m.
